QA for fintech is really strict because we’re dealing with credit card information. We’re dealing with personal information. In the fintech world, you can’t really have mistakes. When you’re dealing with large sums of money in fintech, you’re dealing with personal information. And if you make a mistake, then people’s credit is at stake. People’s identities are at stake. So you don’t have that room, which means quality is even more of a focus.

We did a lot of analytics, data pools, tried to see what we needed for devicelab. We looked at the pricing of what does it cost to have all of these actual physical real devices? And then how often those devices change? And then we started looking at vendors that offer services that weren’t simulators or emulators, but actual devices that we could plug into.

It lined up perfectly where kobiton was doing none of the bad stuff and all the good stuff and more. And that definitely fit into our process very quickly. We were spinning up very quickly. Kobiton helped us with that. And the uptime has been amazing. So even after we chose, it was like, oh, this thing is always available and ready to do exactly what we needed to.

Do the thing I like most about the kobiton platform is just the ease of use. Probably, it’s been absolutely fantastic to be able to just log in, grab a device, be able to have access to all of the logs, all of the recording and everything.

We have to do training with people in multiple locations, having a system that they can log into and we can screen share and run through trainings on a real device. Has been highly beneficial for us.

It’s very easy to look at and to use and to know exactly what you need to do to get your task done. And that makes onboarding very easy because we’re always bringing people in and we’re going very fast. So when we bring new people in to be able to say, hey, here’s, this tool you can use, we have devices anywhere if you’re working from home. If you’re in the office, if you’re in a different office, you can easily jump in and do what you need.

To do since we adopted the kobiton platform, things in general have just gotten way smoother. It’s just been nice to have it always accessible.
