This Privacy Policy only governs information you provide to Kobiton, Inc. (“we” or “us”) via www.kobiton.com (the “Site”) and does not govern other Web sites or any other data collection, disclosure or usage practices, off-line or otherwise.

Kobiton Service

You may store and create testing and other information as part of the Kobiton™ mobile device cloud service (“Kobiton Service”). This privacy policy doesn’t cover that portion of information. Instead, your agreement with us for the Kobiton Service describes what we do with that information.  For example, as part of your use of the Kobiton Service we collect, store and use statistics related to your usage.  You should not upload any personal, private, or sensitive information into the devices as you use the Kobiton Service.

Information we collect and how we use it Registration and contact information

We collect information from you as part of certain features on our Site, such as when you register to access the Kobiton Service.  The information we collect may include your name, email address, company name, phone number, and state. Third party tools, such as Google Analytics, employed on our Site may collect additional information from you, such as geographic area, operating system, browser, and inbound referral link. We may use the contact information you input to send you support information, product and service announcements, and other business communications, and to service our Site.

IP Addresses

Tools employed on our Site may gather your IP address when you access the Site.  We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer, maintain and improve the Site, and gather broad geolocation information for aggregate use. Your IP address may indicate the city from which you are accessing the Internet, but we do not use your IP address in a manner linked to your personally identifiable information.

A cookie is a small file placed on your computer that stores information. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better Site. You understand and agree that technical processing of your information is and may be required (a) to send and receive messages regarding your use of the Site and the Kobiton Service; (b) to conform to the technical requirements of connecting networks; (c) to conform to the limitations of our Site; and (d) to conform to other, similar technical requirements.


As noted above, we may periodically update this Privacy Policy. For example, we may update this policy in order to describe how new Web features may affect our use of your information and to let you know of new controls and features that we may provide you. We will not apply changes to this policy retroactively to information we have previously collected.
